General upper secondary education

General upper secondary education prepares you for your further studies and the future. The City has 14 general upper secondary schools and 1 general upper secondary school for adults. You can enrol in a general programme, special emphasis programme, or a school with a special educational task. There are also private, trust-funded and state-run general upper secondary schools.
