
The length of Lammassaari's accessible boardwalk is about 1.2 kilometres. The route runs from the Vanhankaupunginkoski footbridge to Lammassaari. The round trip to Lammassaari is 2.4 kilometres long. Along the route, there are two elevated, accessible observation decks with information boards about the area's birds. Through the glass walls of the decks, you can admire the reedbeds of the bay. At the end of the trail in Lammassaari there is an accessible birdwatching platform and bird hide.

The outdoor trail
- There are 2 parking spaces marked as accessible in the parking area. The information board about the nature trail is more than 50 m away. The parking area is asphalted.
- 40 meters from the parking area there is an accessible dry toilet (outhouse).
- The pick-up and drop-off area is located over 50 m from the information board.
- The nature trail is one-way. The length of the route is about 2 km.
- There are 3 information boards along the nature trail, which are placed at the central crossroads of the route.
- There are signposts at all crossroads of the route. The route is marked on the terrain.
- The nature trail is hard all the way but partly uneven (bumps). The surface of the passageway is in part fine crushed rock, gravel, boardwalk (planks across).
- The route is mainly 1.5 meters wide including some 1.2 meter narrow places where wheelchairs or strollers can fit through.
- The route has a steep hill that has 3 meters height difference from bottom to top (steepest angle of ascent 19 %).
- Along the nature trail, there are four rest stops with benches for taking a break. The benches are sized for adults.
