The route to the playground area

• There are no accessible parking spaces near the playground. The nearest parking area is located over 50 meters from the place.
• • Leikkialueen lähettyvillä ei ole esteettömiä autopaikkoja. Lähin pysäköintialue on yli 50 metrin etäisyydellä. • Saattoliikenteen pysähtymispaikka on alle 5 metrin päässä leikkialueelta. • Kulkureitti leikkialueelle on asfalttia. Reitti on tasainen ja riittävän leveä sekä valaistu.
• The pick-up and drop-off area is located under 5 meters from the playground gate.
• A smooth and sufficiently wide asphalted route leads to the playground gate. The route is illuminated.

Playground area

• The playground is surrounded by a metal fence. Inside the fence there are tiled walkways. The entire play area is illuminated.
• The playground has an information board that can be accessed by a wheelchair. The information board can also be looked at up close.
• The playground has benches with free space at the end for a wheelchair or stroller. Some of the benches have been designed for children's dimensions.
• The playground has swings, a slide, a sandbox, a canopy, a climbing frame.
• The swings: The swings are situated at the edge of the area. There is a metal fence around the swing area and a bench for an adult nearby. A wet pour rubber safety surface has been installed under the swings. The play area also has a safety swing for a small child.
• The slide: There is space for a wheelchair around the slide and a bench for an adult nearby. A wet pour rubber safety surface has been installed under the slide. The slide can be accessed via the stairs, a ladder.
• The sandbox: The edge of the sandbox is too low for wheelchair access. On the edge of the sandbox, there is a sand table with a wet pour rubber safety surface underneath. There is a bench for an adult nearby.
• The canopy: The entrance to the canopy is not wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. There are tables and benches under the canopy. Some of the tables have been designed for children's dimensions.
• The climbing frame: A wet pour rubber safety surface has been installed under the climbing frame. There is a bench for an adult nearby.

Playground building

• The entrance of the playground building is located in a recess.
• The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens easily manually.
• The entrance has thresholds over 2 cm high.
• The activities take place on the entrance floor.
• The doors in the facility stand out clearly.
• The facility has an accessible toilet.
