The boat berth system has been renewed!
The boat berth system and booking process have been renewed in autumn 2025.
Reservations for the 2025–2026 winter storage season will be made through the new Timmi reservation system.

City of Helsinki’s boat berth reservation system will change in August 2025
Reservations for the 2025–2026 winter storage season will be made through the new Timmi reservation system. Customers must register and authenticate via the Suomi.fi service.
After the new system is launched, all customers must register at venehelsinki.timmi.fi to reserve boat berths or winter storage spots. The website is still under development, and registration will only be possible after the system goes live in August 2025. The system will officially be launched in week 34.

Boat winter storage in designated grid areas
Renewing grid-based winter storage spots for the upcoming season starts immediately after the system launch. Renewing your existing spot is possible until the end of August.
Starting week 34, proceed as follows:- Follow the current boat berth updates page for detailed information about the new system rollout.
- After the launch in week 34, register at venehelsinki.timmi.fi and ensure your contact details, boat information, and berth details are correct. If needed, contact venepaikkavaraukset@hel.fi.
- Pay for your spot by the end of August via the reservation system at venehelsinki.timmi.fi. Note: To continue your rental agreement for the 2025–2026 winter season for grid-based spots, you must pay by the end of August. Note! Spots that are not renewed will become available for others to reserve in September.
- After payment, you can view your details and reservations in the system.
- Boat winter storage in lift-order areas
- After the system launch in week 34, register at venehelsinki.timmi.fi and ensure your contact and boat details are correct.
- You may bring your boat to one of the lift-order areas starting Monday, September 15, 2025.
- Note! You may not pre-reserve spots with trailers or stands.
- Pay for winter storage after you have brought your boat to the area. Payment can be made at venehelsinki.timmi.fi starting Monday, September 15, 2025. Once the payment is complete, a sticker will be sent to be attached to your boat.
- Boat berth system and booking process will be renewed in autumn 2025. The City of Helsinki’s berth reservation system to change in autumn 2025 | City of Helsinki The new system will be provided by Timmi Software Oy. In the future, boat and winter storage berths will no longer require an application—instead, available spaces can be booked directly through the system during the booking period. Winter storage spots, including grid and lift area berths, will be made available for booking in August 2025. Berths for the 2026 sailing season will be booked in spring 2026. We will announce the specific booking dates at a later stage.
- The winter storage area at Kaisaniemi will have to be closed permanently starting from the 2025–2026 season due to an upcoming construction project.
